Audrey Hubbard was born and reared in Brooklyn, New York. Audrey attended NYC public schools and received her B.A. in English from Brooklyn College and her M.A. in Education from Columbia University.
Audrey taught JHS English for many years before becoming a national staff developer. Working with the United Federation of Teachers, Audrey helped facilitate teachers and other school personnel in providing Effective Classroom Management as well as techniques for working more efficiently as a school team.
Gifted with a creative spirit, Audrey has always tried to fill the void of what does not exist, should. She believes that if she needs a particular product, others would too, and tries to bring that product to fruition. Thus, “Hot Plated” came into existence. Noticing that so much food is wasted during leisurely eating because food gets cold and unappetizing, a plate that kept food warm was necessary. This product is perfect for restaurants as well as home use.
Audrey cherishes her family and life-long friends. Because she has been given, she continuously looks to give. She is a member of several civic and service organizations.
